Kate threw a block across the family room this morning
so of course, we said "Kate, don't throw blocks!"
and I had to add, "that was a really good throw, though. Later, we'll go outside and throw a ball."
But like a dog who hears "walk" and wants to go out rightthisverysecond
Kate became quite determined to go outside right then.
And that's how we ended up playing outside in our pajamas
at 7:30 in the morning.

Love it! And what a nice memory to document! I'm sure we'll someday forget their exuberance and right-now-ness when they are lazy teenager who love to say, "Later, Mom." :)
Those pictures are great!
Katelyn is not such a great thrower. We've been working on that for a while ('Uncle' Oscar and Preston have even tried to help), but she hasn't figured out how to get objects to go anywhere but straight down. It's looking like softball games may not be in our future.
